Shuttles external tank is covered with
orange poster board and has vacuum
formed styrene nose and tail cones.
Paited and almost ready to fly.
Launch day! Everything worked
perfectly for the first lauch of the r/c
shuttle. The only damage to the system
was a brocken fin on the SRB, and a
small burn through hole on the body
flap of the orbitor caused by the
extreme heat of the two Estes E9-4
motors inches away. Also two
parachutes got frid from hot ejection
